Buses from Oakland International Airport with Bus Routes and Times

At Oakland International Airport, you can take a bus to your destination. The Coliseum BART station is serviced by a shuttle service.

The facility is serviced by buses from AC Transit. You can take routes 73 and 805 to downtown Oakland and the Coliseum BART station, respectively.

The standard ticket for an adult is $2.10, with discounts for the elderly and the disabled to $1.05, and children under five ride for free.

AC Transit Line 73

Between 4:56 a.m. and 12:06 a.m., every 15 minutes, Line 73 runs between OAK and the Coliseum/Oakland Airport BART station. Traveling from Oakland Fruitvale to Alameda is possible on Line 21.

AC Transit Line 805

Each hour between 12:35 and 4:30 a.m., Line 805 runs to take passengers from OAK to the Coliseum and Airport BART station in downtown Oakland.

AC Transit provides service to the airport and 13 cities and nearby unincorporated areas in Alameda and Contra Costa counties via 78 local lines and 27 Transbay routes connecting to San Francisco and the Peninsula.

Adults (ages 19-64) pay $2.10 for local bus service, while children (5-18) pay $1.05, and seniors (65+) and the disabled (with valid ID) pay $1.05 as well. We do not charge for children under the age of 5.

The cost of a transfer from one AC Transit bus to another is $0.25, and it must be purchased at the time of the initial fare payment. When purchased from vending machines within BART stations, transfers between AC Transit and the BART system cost an additional $1.85.
